Staged capital into measured gold operations
MMS deploys capital in stages, behind verified evidence, into gold assets where the main constraint is processing, technical capability or operating support, not exploration.
The thesis
A processing and operating gap, not a bet on the gold price
Across the region, gold is already being mined or has been mined before, but much of it lacks the capital, plant, skills and controls to become a dependable operation. That gap is where we invest.
Known ground
We favour active workings, brownfield sites and tailings, where the presence of gold is already evident, over long-range exploration.
Operating value
Value comes from better processing, recovery, supply and controls, and is tested through pilots before capital scales.
Capital follows evidence
Each tranche is tied to a verified result. Missed milestones stop capital, and continuing needs a fresh decision.
Gold price as a tailwind
Strong gold prices help, but each project is assessed on its operating economics, not on further price rises.
How capital is deployed
Small first, larger only when proven
Spending rises only as risk falls. Most opportunities stop early, which is the point of the process.
Screen
Desktop and legal review. Minimal spend, fast go or no-go.
Validate
Independent sampling, testwork and a site visit, on a defined diligence budget.
Pilot
A first plant or upgrade, funded in tranches released against operating targets.
Scale
More capacity only after throughput, recovery, feedstock, cash extraction and unit economics are proven.

Governance
Built to say no
Discipline is designed into the structure, not left to judgement on the day.
Ring-fenced projects
Each asset sits in its own project vehicle, with a local partner where appropriate.
Independent sign-off
Origination is kept separate from approval, and an external technical review comes before major commitments.
Pre-agreed stop criteria
Kill criteria are set before money moves, which removes sunk-cost pressure.
Reporting
Numbers you can audit
Every operation reports against its plan, so partners see actual performance and problems early.
- Production and throughput
- Head grade and recovery
- Gold accounting and reconciliation
- Cost per tonne and per ounce
- Inventory and consumables
- Sales, cash and distributions
